The Fear of Lord is beginning of wisdom.
Prov 1:7

Community Visits

Regular visits to the slum cluster are carried out by the teachers and the school nurse too carries out de-worming and multivitamin supplement programs.  Mothers in the community are regularly counseled   about child health, hygiene and nutrition.

Children who fall ill from infectious diseases like chicken pox, tuberculosis etc are also visited by the school nurse and counseled about a suitable diet, necessity of keeping good personal hygiene and  preventive measures to prevent the disease  from spreading.

Health Care to Geeta

Geeta of Class IV, daughter of a mason, had a dangerous ear infection that threatened to spread and infect the brain.   Her infection caused severe pain and loss of hearing. She was advised surgery.   Mount Carmel School parents who are ENT specialists, came forward to assist her in getting her diagnostic tests done and working out a treatment plan for her.

Geeta was successfully operated upon at Deen Dayal Hospital and is now under the regular supervision of the School Nurse.

We are grateful to all our doctor parents who always pitch in to help the students providing medicines, diagnostic facilities and multivitamin supplements.
