Making a Difference Through Courage & Hope

"There is always  a moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future  in."

Ravi Shankar and Subhash Jha: 2 brilliant students of Mount Carmel Shiksha Kendra.  Their mental brilliance and passion for studies   saw them being sponsored into Mount Carmel School. Their positive attitude and dedication has endeared them to teachers and classmates alike.

Lucky and Yogesh Beniwal:  The siblings are physically challenged.  Their father works as a ‘dhobi’ ironing clothes to make a living.  The children have a shortened arm each which makes writing and even simple daily chores a challenging feat.

Ruby:  though her leg is affected by polio, her spirit soars high.   She is a student of Class IX.  Her parents stay in the village, but she has chosen to stay back and live with her uncle as she is determined to complete   her studies. Always the first to participate in all activities, she motivates others with her enthusiasm.  A good student she loves the tailoring class.

Purnima:Purnima became the first student to pass Class X in her first attempt. She appeared through the National Open School. Her story is truly challenging. Being a keen student, Purnima worked hard both in school and at home. Her father suffers from a serious health ailment and is unable to work regularly.

So, she compliments by taking tuitions. It is indeed inspiring to see how Purnima faced all the challenges in her pursuit of studies.Focusing on becoming a fashion designer, she has completed a Diploma in Fashion Designing through our skill based training too.
